Google just hired the lead developer of GAIM. GAIM is an IM client for Mac OSX, Windows, and Linux that is compatible with the following IM Servises: AIM, MSN Messenger, ICQ, Yahoo!, Jabber, IRC, Gadu-Gadu, SILC, Zephyr networks, and GroupWise Messenger.
